Indexing

• The biographic abstracts of the compendiums were full text indexed and the header data were transferred into a database. The GND number (identification number of the Integrated Authority File - Gemeinsame Normdatei) was recorded for every member. In cases where no GND number existed yet, it was created.
• The Subject Index and the Index of Speakers are full text indexed and tagged with XML. The GND numbers were entered in the index files mostly automatically in order to achieve an automatic linking of both data sets.
